The Alaska Kennel Club offers Junior Handling Classes every Friday nights (except Christmas) starting at 5:30pm & 6:00pm. Each class is 30 minutes long and focuses on all the aspects of the Junior showmanship competition.  This includes good sportsmanship towards other competitors.

The classes are taught by Alaska Kennel Club member, Sherry Sims. Sherry has been involved with dog shows and Junior Showmanship competition for many years, as she had a son and a daughter compete in Juniors when they were younger.  

We are very proud of the Juniors who attend Sherry's classes.
